STARTUP AUTOBAHN March Focus Week – Program #2 has started!

Last week was very exciting for STARTUP AUTOBAHN. After months of preparing, scouting the best startups all over the world, and selecting the TOP 28 out of over 300 startups, Program 2 finally started on March 13th.

Plug and Play team organized various activities for the startups, corporate partners and the whole STARTUP AUTOBAHN community in order to provide platform for networking, pilot projects and mentoring.

On March 13th Welcoming Day selected startups from all around the world: Finland, Norway, Israel, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Silicon Valley moved into our co-working space in the brand new ARENA2036 building.

On Monday we started the onboarding week with delicious breakfast and in the afternoon ARENA2036 CEO Peter Froeschle gave a tour through the building.

Tueasday´s Corporate Day was all about networking and pilot projects. After PNP team presented an overview about program #2 to the audience the startups and corporate partners discussed potential collaborations in one-hour private meetings in the ARENA2036. 25 out of 28 program 2 startups came to Stuttgart to attend the Corporate Day!

Thursday morning was dedicated to Mentoring Sessions. We started the day with a Workshop on Investments, where Mattias Goetz explained what startups should know when talking to investors. After that Willem Bulthuis and Ivan Labra joined our co-working space and startups swang by at the mentors’ desks for ad-hoc one-on-one talks about business development, business modelling and investment strategies.

On Thursday evening we held our monthly STARTUP AUTOBAHN Plug and Play Meetup. More than 100 people – corporations, industry partners, startups, mentors, universities and government representatives – gathered to see our STARTUP AUTOBAHN startups. 9 of our startups: What3Words, Fibres, Guard Knox, Memobase, Truphysics, Relimetrics, Renumics, KREATIZE and POMP presented their pitches on stage. We concluded the evening with networking, beer and pizza. STAY TUNED!
