Böblingen I Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz Werk – After almost three years of successfully completed programs with amazing topics and great ideas, it is time to focus on another very important field of action with a huge impact on the automotive sector – the creation of sustainable mobility solutions including green processes in production, supply chain and innovative concepts. For one of our major goals when developing future automotive technologies, Daimler wants to exploit the great potential of STARTUP AUTOBAHN.  

With launching our campaign “THE NEXT GREEN THING”, we followed our vision to focus on launching even more sustainable innovations into the vehicles of today and tomorrow.

Ralf Lamberti, Intellectual Property, Trends & Innovation, Daimler AG: „With the campaign ‚THE NEXT GREEN THING‘, we want to launch joint projects at Daimler with startups that focus on sustainability. Of course, sustainability is already an important aspect in many projects today, but now it will become a supporting principle in the STARTUP AUTOBAHN program. We are specifically looking for start-ups that match our focus topics such as climate protection, saving resources, livable cities or new work concepts“.
